Christmas Greetings 1996

by: Leo Lawton

Twas the day before Christmas,

and here in our house,

cleaning and baking,

was my sweet loving spouse.

She made me some coffee,

as I typed away,

and I reflected on,

my most wonderful day.

My son and my daughter,

had entered my door,

and two of my grandkids,

had played on the floor.

I sorta figured,

that I couldn’t miss,

It just doesn’t get,

any better than this.

Merry Christmas

(The son and daughter entering would have been Carl & Donna, and the two grandkids Megan and Alex)
