I need a place, my own little space, far from the maddening crowd,
Quiet things, like butterfly wings, are all that will be allowed,
There will be no rages, no animal cages, everything shall be free,
My body and mind, shall slowly unwind, and I can truly be me.
Would you be glad, or a little bit sad, if I said I were going away,
to turn my face, toward a wonderful place, forevermore, to stay,
just like the dove, all will be love, in this place where I will go,
it will be oh so fine, in this place of mine, for I have willed it be so.
Without a care, you will walk with me there, no one ever would frown,
I’ll not be alone, you will sit on a throne, while wearing your own little crown,
nothing suspicious, food is delicious, I’m sure then that you will find,
there is such a spot, believe it or not, its all right here in my mind.
